User question: I installed pocket atlas on my palm treo, but for some reason when I open the application I got a message that reads: "Error loading data. Detail layer datas not found. \detail\detail.mrf is missing.. Please check whether storage card path is correct. Having closed this message the option dialog  will appear where you can setup data path". I set the path, but then it asks me to restart the application, and when I stared again the same message appears.

Solution:The program detects the installation folder automatically by searching for the file "pocketatlas.loc" file. Please check wether you have the map datas twice on your storage card (one complete and one incomplete copy).

Windows Mobile 6 Professional, Windows Mobile 6 Classic

Question: I have purchased a full version of World info 2007 which ran fine on my T-mobile mdavario. I have now purchased a T-mobile mda vario 3 running windows mobile professional 6. The main program installed onto the memory card ok but the .net framework world not
install as the pocket pc has a later version on. This appears to be causing the main
program not to finish installing correctly. Nothing appears in the programs list to start
the program.

Answer:  The DotNet Compact Framework (2.0) is already included in Windows Mobile 6. If you install PWI, you can suppress the installation of NET CF 2.0 with a WM6 device.

1) Start setup program

2) With the selection of the components you deactivate NET Compact Framework (see picture below).

3) After that only the application is installed on your device. It can be started from the program menu. Make sure that you confirm all security message from Microsoft during the installation.

Question: After downloading  Pocket World Info  & maps 2006 on storage card all look
well, after going to programs screen I find the icon to run program nothing happen.

Answer: This happens, because .NET Compact Framework was not installed! Or you have installed an earlier version of the DotNet Framework.

These products are based on Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0. For this reason we package each product with the corresponding .NET Compact Framework version (picture below).

For the following reasons your registration key does not work:

1) The installed version of mobile backup does not match with your registration key. e.g. a registration key for version 1.0.0.7 is not compatible with version 1.0.5.

2) You did not enter the correct name which is associated with the key. The name is case sensitive and without leading and ending space.
